Olbram ZoubekJeště ... / Still ...

Jen málokterému umělci se podaří vytvořit dílo, které je umělecky kvalitní a zároveň přitažlivé i pro běžné diváky. Svými sochami, charismatickým vystupováním a zároveň odvážným občanským postojem se Olbram Zoubek stal nejznámějším žijícím českým sochařem. Základem výstavy je cyklus bronzových reliéfů s názvem "Ještě", který je premiérován právě v chrudimské galerii. Umělec v něm zrekapituloval svá nejvýznamnější a zároveň nejmilejší témata spojená s jeho první ženou Evou, antickou inspirací a portréty žen, které ho ovlivnily.
Výstava "Ještě …" byla připravena u příležitosti umělcových osmdesátin.

Only some artists manage to create work of high artistic quality which appeals to common people at the same time. Olbram Zoubek has become the most famous Czech sculptor because of sculptures charismatic mannor and bold civic attitude. A cycle of bronze reliefs called "Ještě" (Still) the basis of the exhibition, which is presented in Chrudim Gallery at the moment for the first time at all. The artist has recapitulated his most important and favourite topics which are connected with his first wife Eve, antic inspiration and portraits of women who influenced him. The exhibition "Ještě"(Still) has been prepared on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
